Missing Enemies Concept Art

Guardian Darknut

"Deep within a fortress surrounded by the sea lies this once heroic warrior. With armour composed of Guardian parts, it's body becomes an impenetrable fortress itself.

It wields both an Ancient Mace and Ancient Shield, for both incredible offence and defence. The Guardian eye on the Shield shoots several slow moving balls of energy, rather than lasers, but can still be parried back. Its Mace seems incredibly cold to touch, and can freeze the ground around it, making movement slippery and unreliable.

Flurry attacks become less effective as the Darknut observes your movements, and eventually punts you away, should you attempt to approach it."

Guardian Darkhammer

"Within a snowbound labyrinth, this Lizalfos Warrior has clad himself in Guardian armour. Unlike the other Guardian Warriors, this agile fighter carries more chainmail than armour, for freedom of movement.

It swings around its Ancient Hammer to keep enemies at a distance, and may set it on fire to create an infernal ring around itself. The fire can be put out if cooled quickly enough.

It can use several techniques that regular Lizalfos possess, such as a rapid tongue lash, and fiery breath used by Fire Lizalfos."

Guardian Iron Knuckle

"In a walled area deep within Gerudo Desert hides a great warrior shrouded in Guardian armour. It has awaited a strong challenger for the past 100 years.

Using its Ancient Thunderaxe, the Guardian Knuckle does the highest amount of damage compared to the other Guardian Warriors. However, its mass amounts of bulky armour make it incredibly sluggish, and will patiently wait for an opponent to approach before blowing them away.

Thanks to the electrified crystal on the axe, it can easily knock away metal shields and weapons. When in desperation, it will electrify its entire body and create lightning shockwaves that course through the battlefield floor."

ReDead & Gibdo

"Former soldiers of Hyrule Castle that fell in battle and have been brought back to life inadvertently through the power of the Blood Moon. While they do not appear to serve Calamity Ganon, they cannot distinguish between ally and foe, and will attack any bystanders, attempting to grab hold and pull them into the ground, where they become incapable of movement.

The ones with more armour, and mummified skin, are Gibdos, and they seem to command the troops of ReDead. Unusually agile, they carry the elusive Bloodstained Sword, a heavy two-handed weapon. The Gibdo don't seem to struggle using it with a single hand, though. Perhaps this is a certain power of the Blood Moon.

These enemies appear most frequently around areas of great battles, such as Fort Hateno and Hyrule Castle."

Malice Gibdo

"I have only heard rumours of such a monster; a Gibdo completely consumed by the Calamity, appearing in areas where Malice thrives, such as Tabantha Tower, Coliseum Ruins and Hyrule Castle.

Merely touching the body of one inflicts you with its poison. Frightfully, it is lacking in a skull, and in it's place is a gaping mouth that spews out infinite minions of Ganon. They wield a Bloodstained Scythe.

Unlike patches of malice, this beast doesn't have a weak spot, but it can easily be knocked around because of its frail body. It seems to perish in water.
